TRON is a smart-contract network with its own addresses, wallet integrations and resource model. Bandwidth accounts for transaction data, while Energy covers smart-contract execution. Accounts can obtain resources by staking or delegation; when available resources are insufficient, TRX can be burned to cover the shortfall.
Find the right TRON service
- TRON wallets manage accounts, TRX, TRC-20 tokens and transaction approvals.
- Onchain analytics inspect addresses, contracts and resource usage.
- Trading tools and bots should state whether transactions are custodial, wallet-signed or executed through an account controlled by the service.
Check more than the token symbol
TRC-20 identifies a token standard on TRON. Assets with the same name can also exist on Ethereum or other networks, but the deposit address and contract are not interchangeable. Before sending, confirm that both services support the TRON network and the exact asset.
A wallet estimate should show whether an action is likely to consume Bandwidth, Energy or TRX. Review the contract permission and resource estimate before signing, particularly for recurring approvals or automated tools.
