Arbitrum is an Ethereum scaling ecosystem with multiple chains. Arbitrum One is the main general-purpose rollup and the network most tools mean when they simply say “Arbitrum.” Arbitrum Nova and chains built with Arbitrum technology are separate environments, so support for one does not establish support for all.
Browse by practical need
- Wallets connect to Arbitrum One through an EVM network configuration.
- Bridges move supported assets between a source network and Arbitrum; routes and completion times vary.
- Portfolio trackers summarize supported positions, while onchain analytics inspect transactions and contracts.
Arbitrum One is not Ethereum mainnet
Arbitrum One uses ETH for gas but maintains separate balances and transactions from Ethereum. Before signing, verify the network, contract address and allowance. When bridging, check both sides of the route and do not assume an asset with the same ticker is interchangeable across chains.
For development tools, confirm whether the service supports only standard EVM contracts or also Arbitrum-specific features such as Stylus.
