Information we may collect
Account and profile information
If you create an account, we may process your email address, authentication information handled by Supabase Auth, and profile fields you choose to provide, such as a display name, first name, avatar, website, or biography.
Activity and content
We may process favorites, tool submissions, edits, administrative actions, and messages you send to us. A published contribution may remain in the directory after account deletion in a neutralized form when necessary to preserve the integrity of the public catalog.
Technical data and logs
Our hosting and database infrastructure may generate technical records such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, response status, diagnostic events, and security logs. We use these records to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and requested features, maintain favorites and submissions, respond to support requests, moderate and improve directory content, secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, comply with applicable obligations, and exercise or defend legal rights. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent, compliance with law, or our legitimate operational and security interests.
Service providers and data sources
dApps.tools uses Supabase for authentication, database services, and file storage, and Vercel for website hosting, content delivery, and server-side execution. These providers may process technical or account data on our behalf under their own contractual and security terms.
When enabled, administrative research features may use OpenAI to help review publicly available information about listed tools. They are not used as a visitor analytics system. Server-side features also consult third-party market, blockchain, and currency data providers; those requests are used to produce directory information rather than to build advertising profiles.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication may use essential cookies. Theme, currency, interface, and draft preferences may use cookies or browser storage. The current public website does not include an advertising or audience-analytics tracker. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.
Retention
We retain account information while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain appropriate records. Browser preferences remain on your device until they expire or you clear them. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the operational schedules of dApps.tools and its service providers. Retention may vary by record type and legal requirement.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the service, including access controls and database row-level security. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Our providers may process or store information in other jurisdictions, including the United States. As a result, information may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of another jurisdiction. We assess and use service providers with safeguards appropriate to the information and service involved.
Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, request deletion where applicable, or raise a concern about our handling of your information. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, recordkeeping, or public-interest requirements. Account deletion controls are available in the dashboard where supported.

Children
dApps.tools is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
