Ondo Finance provides tokenized exposure to financial assets through a web application and developer APIs. Its products cover public securities, Treasury-related assets, managed baskets and private-company notes. They belong to the real-world asset category, but their legal rights and access conditions differ.
| Product | Exposure | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Ondo Stocks | Public stocks and ETFs (exchange-traded funds) | Token exposure differs from direct share ownership |
| USDY | Tokenized note | Collateral depends on issuance terms |
| OUSG | Fund interests | Accredited investor and qualified purchaser requirements |
| Intelligent Portfolios | Managed token basket | Portfolio token is not itself an ETF |
| Private Markets | Private-company-linked note | Unsecured; no share ownership |
Understand the product before using it
- Ondo Stocks: tokens that track the economic performance of public stocks and ETFs. The underlying securities are held through financial intermediaries; holding a token is distinct from owning the shares directly.
- USDY: a tokenized note whose collateral can include short-term US Treasuries, Treasury ETF shares or bank deposits, depending on when it was issued.
- OUSG: tokenized fund interests providing exposure to short-term US Treasuries and money market funds. Access requires both accredited investor and qualified purchaser status.
- Intelligent Portfolios: a managed basket of tokenized stocks and ETFs represented by one token. The portfolio token is not itself an ETF.
- Private Markets: unsecured notes linked to a private company’s realized share value. They are not backed by shares in that company and provide no ownership or shareholder rights.
Access and practical limits
Useful for: eligible users who need financial-asset exposure represented by blockchain tokens, and developers integrating those assets into wallets or applications. Less suited to: users who need direct share ownership or unrestricted access without identity checks.
Direct minting and redemption require an approved account, identity or business verification, and a compatible linked wallet. Public product information can be read without onboarding. Ondo Stocks and USDY exclude prohibited jurisdictions, including Canada and the United States. Other countries may require professional or qualified investor status.
Availability is product-specific. Ondo Stocks has minting and redemption contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana; Intelligent Portfolios uses Ethereum and BNB Chain. OUSG is documented on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana and XRP Ledger. USDY also supports Arbitrum, Sui and Aptos, among other networks; direct operations on Sui and Aptos require contacting support. A supported network does not make every Ondo product available there.
Fees and redemption conditions
Ondo Stocks charges through transaction quotes, which may include fees and a difference from the underlying execution price. Network costs are separate. Intelligent Portfolios adds an annual service fee that depends on the portfolio. There is no single subscription price covering all products.
OUSG lists a USD 5,000 minimum for instant minting and redemption, fund expenses capped at 0.15%, and management fees capped at 0.15% but waived until 1 January 2027. Stock trading schedules, temporary pauses and available stablecoin liquidity can affect when and how a redemption completes. These tokens remain exposed to their underlying assets and issuer arrangements; they are not guaranteed cash balances.
