CoinTracker pulls records from compatible crypto accounts and uploaded CSVs into a single read-only view for portfolio monitoring and tax preparation. It shows holdings, performance, realized and unrealized gains or losses, and cost basis, then can generate tax forms or exports according to the selected plan. The service does not place orders or transfer assets.
What you can connect
An onchain account is imported by entering its public address. For exchanges, CoinTracker offers read-only connections; compatible transaction files can also be uploaded in CSV format. The blockchains listed on this page—Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon and Base—represent supported data integrations, not execution networks. Coverage varies by source, network and transaction type.

Who it fits
Useful for: people who need to assemble records from several crypto accounts, monitor a combined portfolio and prepare tax data.
Less suited for: users seeking trade execution, asset custody or tax results that never need manual review.
Account required: yes.
Wallet required: optional. A wallet import uses its public address; exchange connections and CSV uploads work without a wallet. Retrieving data does not involve a wallet signature or sharing a private key.
Software installation: none for browser access. Official iOS and Android apps are also available.
Interface language: English is the language verified in the current product and app listing.
Before using the tax output
Imported activity can still contain missing cost basis, unmatched transfers or classifications that need correction. Reports are only as complete as the connected accounts and uploaded records. Forms, export formats and advanced tax features depend on the selected plan and reporting context; CoinTracker prepares records but does not replace a complete tax return or professional tax advice.
Plans
CoinTracker uses a freemium model. Account setup and some tracking access start without payment, while paid subscriptions provide eligible tax forms and advanced tax features. Prices, transaction limits and included outputs vary by plan, and subscriptions renew automatically under the current terms unless cancelled.
