Flap lets creators launch tokens on supported EVM networks and lets users trade them through its web interface. This launchpad offers a choice between tokens without a trading tax and tax tokens whose proceeds follow a configured allocation or smart-contract vault.
What happens after a launch?
A new token initially trades on a bonding curve: a pricing formula links its token reserve to the asset used to buy it. When the configured graduation threshold is reached, the remaining tokens and collected reserves move into a decentralized exchange pool. The threshold and migration route depend on the launch configuration.
In this context, a token tax is a charge built into token trading, not a tax return or a payment to a tax authority. Tax Token V3 supports different buy and sell rates. A custom vault adds contract-defined handling of the collected proceeds; it is an optional component with its own code and conditions.
Costs beyond the displayed token price
Flap documents a 1% bonding-curve fee on BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain, X Layer and Monad, and 2.5% on Morph. This fee stops applying after graduation. Tax tokens also have their configured token tax; the protocol documents a tax-related rate of up to 0.3% of trade volume. These are distinct components, not one universal all-in rate.
Network, pool, launch, vault and third-party costs may also apply.
Where and when to use it
The network selector offers BNB Smart Chain, Robinhood Chain, Base, X Layer, Monad and Morph. Token types, quote assets and options vary by network. An asset shown as a payment token does not mean that launches occur on that asset’s original blockchain.
- Useful for: setting up a token launch with defined trading rules or examining launches before and after pool migration.
- Less suited to: centralized order-book trading or recovering transactions through a custodial account.
- Account and wallet: public browsing and the creation form are accessible without signing in. Submitting onchain actions requires a compatible wallet and network fees.
Flap describes the service as generally non-custodial. Transactions generally cannot be reversed or recovered, and feature availability can vary by jurisdiction.
Fee scope: the network-specific figures above do not establish Base’s fee schedule. If you select Base, use the fees displayed for that route rather than extrapolating a BNB Chain rate.
