Defined.fi brings token research and trading into the same workspace. Its spot workflow uses Relay to route transactions across supported networks from a cash balance, while perpetual contracts use Hyperliquid. Prediction discovery also brings together events from Polymarket and Kalshi; a displayed event does not by itself confirm trading access.
A cash balance, with separate market funding
Trading requires a Defined account. The platform generates EVM and Solana wallets when you sign up, so an existing external wallet is not required. The current token-trading workflow uses these Defined wallets rather than trading directly from a separately connected wallet. An external wallet can be used to deposit funds.
Cash Balance can include supported stablecoins held on several networks. The deposit screen identifies where a deposit lands. Perpetuals and predictions require a separate transfer from this balance through the relevant market's Deposit flow, and access is subject to regional restrictions.
Research without building a custom layout
The default interface provides token profiles with charts, transactions and holder information. Optional Boards combine linked panels into a layout you can resize, save or share. Defined uses Codex for blockchain data and TradingView for charts; chart coverage and trading availability are separate questions.
For token trading, the documentation explicitly describes Ethereum, Solana, Base and Polygon transaction handling. Hyperliquid is the perpetuals integration. This is not an exhaustive list of indexed networks or a claim that every displayed token can be traded.
What the fees mean
Spot: Defined charges 0.5%, with a $0.50 minimum fee per order and a $5 minimum order size. The minimum fee affects orders below $100.
Perpetuals: the published Defined fee is 0.025%.
Predictions: the published Defined fee is 0.25%.
These are application fees, not one all-inclusive rate. Relay fees can apply to spot transactions, and the fee indicator separates applicable gas, Relay and Defined charges. The release notes also specify a one-time $0.50 setup fee when withdrawing to an address you have not previously used.
When the workflow fits
Useful for: combining onchain token research with order management, following wallet activity and organizing several market views in one account.
Less suited to: someone who needs to trade directly from an existing connected wallet or expects every market to use the same funding flow.
Main limits: perpetual positions can be liquidated; regional restrictions affect perpetuals and predictions; data coverage does not establish execution availability.
The browser interface requires no app installation. iOS and Android apps share the account and wallets, while the Telegram interface supports alerts and order management. English is confirmed for the iOS app; additional interface languages have not been verified.
Minimum-fee example: the stated USD 0.50 minimum equals 5% of a USD 10 order, before network or other charges. Compare the full fee breakdown rather than the percentage alone.
