Magic Eden is a web marketplace for discovering, buying, listing and selling Solana NFTs. Its current scope is narrower than earlier versions of the service: marketplace support for EVM networks and Bitcoin ended in March 2026. The remaining experiences are the Solana Marketplace, Solana Packs and Solana Lucky Buy.
The marketplace combines Magic Eden listings with selected listings from other Solana marketplaces. Users can buy one item, sweep several listings, list NFTs in bulk, manage external listings, inspect traits and rarity rankings, or submit item, trait and collection offers. A shared escrow balance can support several offers; an offer becomes inactive when the available balance cannot cover it.
Listing an NFT costs 0% and Magic Eden charges a 2% marketplace fee on transactions. Creator royalties and Solana network fees are separate. For eligible Solana collections, buyers can select full, half or no optional royalty; enforced royalties still apply. Lucky Buy is a probability-based feature for eligible non-US users and carries its own fee. Packs reveal a randomized collectible or payout path, with rules and decision windows shown before confirmation.
Magic Eden supports common Solana collectible formats, including Metaplex Core, Token-2022, compressed NFTs, inscriptions and SPL-20. A compatible external Solana wallet is required. The former Magic Eden Wallet, mobile application and browser extension are no longer supported, so this profile covers the current web marketplace only.
