Non-fungible tokens are blockchain records used to represent distinct items, memberships, media references, game assets, or other rights. The token proves control of an onchain identifier; it does not automatically grant copyright, guarantee permanent media storage, or establish authenticity. Those details depend on the contract, metadata, issuer, and accompanying terms.
Verify more than the artwork
- • Identity: Confirm the chain, collection contract, token ID, and authority.
- • Storage: Find where metadata and media live and whether they can change.
- • Rights: Read the licence, fees, royalty rules, and marketplace permissions.
Verify the collection and token
Names, artwork, and verification marks can be copied. Confirm the blockchain, contract or mint address, collection authority, token ID, supply, metadata location, and official references. Check whether metadata or supply can still change and whether the media is stored onchain, on decentralized storage, or at a conventional URL.
Compare the complete trading experience
Review listing and purchase methods, marketplace, creator and network fees, royalty handling, supported wallets, bidding rules, escrow, and settlement. Floor price is only the lowest listing, not a guaranteed sale value. Rarity scores and estimated values depend on the provider’s model and available data.
Read ownership rights and permissions
Buying an NFT does not necessarily transfer intellectual-property rights. Read the project licence and platform terms. Before minting or trading, inspect wallet simulations, token approvals, collection identifiers, and destination. Avoid unsolicited NFTs and links embedded in metadata; hiding an item can be safer than interacting with it.
