fomo is a social crypto trading app available on the Web, iOS, and Android. It combines spot token trading with social discovery, trader activity, leaderboards, alerts, portfolio and PnL tracking, and perpetual futures. A unified USD balance can be used across Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, and Monad without manually bridging or keeping a separate gas token for each network.
Who fomo is for
- Useful for: users who want social discovery and spot trading across supported networks in one account, with continuity between web and mobile.
- Less suitable for: users who do not want an account-linked embedded wallet, or who need a feature that is restricted in their jurisdiction.
- Account required: Yes. Sign in with an email address or Apple ID.
- External wallet required: No. fomo creates an embedded non-custodial wallet through Privy; its private keys can be exported.
- Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 or otherwise old enough to enter a binding contract.
Funding, fees, and limits
Funding options include debit card, Apple Pay, and USDC deposits on supported networks. Crypto withdrawals are supported, while bank withdrawals depend on the user’s region. fomo charges a variable fee on buy and sell transactions and shows it before confirmation. Third-party network, liquidity, execution, trading, and funding costs may also apply; not all are guaranteed to appear in the quote.
- Perpetual futures: fomo charges 0.05% per transaction, in addition to third-party protocol fees and funding payments. These leveraged products can be liquidated and are unavailable to U.S. persons or users in the United States. Access may also be restricted elsewhere or require identity verification.
- Robinhood Tokens: unavailable to U.S. persons and to residents of or users located in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other restricted jurisdictions.
- Third-party execution: transactions use external protocols and onchain infrastructure. fomo states that it is not a DEX, exchange, or broker.
- Interface languages confirmed on iOS: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Web and Android language coverage was not independently verified.
