AllDomains is a web-based naming service built primarily on Solana. It lets a person or community register renewable, human-readable names under supported TLDs. A registered name is linked to the owner’s wallet and can replace a long public address in wallets and apps that integrate AllDomains.
The public flow uses a wallet connection. A compatible Solana wallet is required to buy, renew, transfer, wrap or edit a domain because these actions require onchain approval.
Who it serves
Useful for: people who want a readable Solana identity, communities using their own TLD, and domain owners who need renewal, records, transfers or NFT wrapping from one dashboard.
Less suitable for: anyone who needs a conventional DNS domain or a name that resolves in every wallet and app. Resolution depends on each product integrating AllDomains, and TLD rules are not identical.
Registration and management
The search interface can check a complete name or browse available TLDs. Before purchase, users choose an accepted payment token and a renewal term. Some community TLDs require a specific token, so the options displayed for one TLD may not apply to another.
- Review owned names and expiration dates in the connected-wallet profile.
- Renew a name in advance and choose a new term.
- Set one owned name as the main domain shown by compatible integrations.
- Edit supported records while the domain is unwrapped.
- Transfer a name to another Solana address or domain.
- Wrap eligible names as NFTs and unwrap them when record editing is needed.
Costs and renewal
Registering a domain is paid. Official documentation says TLD partners set fees at USDC-denominated values, while checkout may accept SOL, USDC or selected SPL tokens. The final price, accepted token and renewal period must be checked in the interface because they vary by TLD. Solana network fees are separate from the registration price.
Domains are renewable rather than permanent. The documentation currently describes a 50-day grace period after expiration but also warns that not every integration has implemented the grace-period behavior. Expiration status should therefore be checked in the profile dashboard.
Compatibility and limits
A registered name does not automatically work in every Solana wallet. The sending wallet or app must support AllDomains resolution. The public registration experience reviewed here is Solana-focused, even though the protocol documentation also discusses deployments and developer integrations on other networks.
Account required: no separate username-and-password account is described for the public flow. Wallet required: yes for registration and management. Main limits: variable TLD rules and pricing, renewable ownership, and integration-dependent name resolution.
