Crypto travel platforms may accept digital assets or use blockchain features for flights, accommodation, transport, or activities. The payment can be onchain while inventory, confirmation, fulfillment, and customer support remain in conventional booking systems.
Confirm these details before paying
- • Seller: identify the merchant, airline, property, or activity provider responsible for the booking.
- • Total price: include taxes, baggage, service, conversion, and network fees.
- • Conditions: read cancellation, change, no-show, and refund rules.
A successful transfer is not a booking confirmation
Check the asset, network, exchange rate, quote expiry, payment address, and required confirmations. After payment, wait for the supplier’s booking reference and verify names, dates, fare or room type, and included services. Keep both the blockchain transaction ID and conventional receipt.
Understand refunds and support
A crypto refund is usually a new transfer rather than a reversal. Its value may follow the original asset amount, fiat price, or a later conversion rate, and some fees may not be returned. Know whether support comes from the booking site, payment processor, carrier, property, or another supplier.
