BONKbot is a Solana trading interface that runs inside Telegram. Starting the official bot creates a dedicated wallet, which must be funded with SOL before it can buy or sell supported tokens. A token can be loaded by pasting its contract address or a supported link from pump.fun, DEX Screener, Birdeye or Meteora.
Fit and requirements
- Useful for: placing Solana swaps and conditional orders without leaving Telegram, checking open positions and configuring transaction settings.
- Less suited for: users who do not want to trade through Telegram or fund a bot-created wallet, or who need a launch-pool sniper. BONKbot documents Auto Buy as a different feature.
- Account required: yes, a Telegram account.
- Wallet required: BONKbot creates one during setup. An external wallet is optional if SOL can be sent from an exchange.
Orders and controls
Immediate buys and sells use SOL. Limit buys can trigger below or above the current price, while limit sells can be configured as take-profit or stop-loss orders. Trigger options include price, market capitalization, percentage change and a multiple of the current value. Settings cover slippage, maximum price impact, transaction priority, MEV protection, sell confirmation and optional two-factor authentication.
Costs and operational limits
Setup is free, but BONKbot charges 1% on each successful swap. Solana network fees and possible third-party charges are separate. Quotes do not guarantee the final execution price, and a triggered limit order may remain unfilled when market conditions change quickly. When Auto Buy is enabled, pasting a contract address executes the configured purchase without another warning.
BONKbot's terms describe its generated wallet as non-custodial and state that the provider cannot recover lost credentials. BONKbot supports direct withdrawal of SOL only; other assets must be moved with another compatible wallet.
